Men & Women Foundation To Stop The Violence has participated in major community events to such as the “3rd Annual Chrysler Sounds of Haiti Festival” which took place at Wingate Park in Brooklyn on August 30,2005. To combat domestic violence & raise money for a cure of HIV/AIDS by raffling of a Chrysler 300. Thanks to our offical sponsor “Chrysler” which took the time out to help the non-profit organization OASIS cntinue there efforts to help people of all walks of life who are HIV/AIDS positive. This event was a major success as the 2005 Miss Trinidad N Tobago Bueaty Pageant Contestants were our special guest. This important event was sponsored by the Haitian American Cultural Festival Inc., We were also accompanied by District attorney Charles J. They took the time out and joined Men & Women Foundation To Stop The Violence and Miss Trinidad N Tobago 2005 in honoring the NYPD for excellent service to the community of Brooklyn.

Men & Women Foundation To Stop The Violence also work with the community to protect the rights of children all over the world as we pursued on March 26, 2006 along with our Dance Group La Troupe Zetwal and Mikerline Dance Troupe as we participated in the planning of the “Kids Are People Two Festival” at Brooklyn College. This important event was sponsored by R & D Entertainment Inc. There were live major performances by Hispanic and Haitian artists, like Carimi and System Band etc. We requested the assistance of New York Presbyterian Hospital Community Health Plan to participate in giving away free gift too all the attendees as kids where being reported missing or abused in the community of Brooklyn. Congresswomen Yvette D. Clarke was appointed as the keynote speaker, for the “Kids Are People Two Festival” at Brooklyn College. The following day, which was March 27, 2006, Men & Women Foundation To Stop The Violence was giving the opportunity to have La Troupe Zetwal perform for the newly elected President of Haiti, President Rene Garcia Preval, which took place at 7:30pm sharp at York College Auditorium.

Men & Women Foundation To Stop The Violence was also played a major role in the 1st Annual African Day Parade that took place in Harlem for the first time. The African Day Parade was held in New York City on August 5, 2007, which started at 12:00noon at 112th Street & Malcolm X BLVD and ended at 116 Street & Frederick Douglas BLVD.
