On December 1 2012, Kasandra Michelle Perkins (Kasi) was shot to death by her boyfriend, an NFL football player- prior to his own suicide. Their infant daughter became an orphan from domestic homicide. In going thru this tragedy, Kasi's family realized that there were very few resources for children who had lost parents as their daughter had. Kasi's Kids was started in order to fill that void. Kasi's dream was to make a difference in the lives of children. We honor her in this way.

We are a non-profit organization governed by a board of volunteers and created in honor of Kasandra Michelle Perkins. Kasi's Kids was created to be a helping hand to children (and their families) who have suffered the loss of a parent(s) to domestic violence homicide.
